Warm Weather Shipping and Handling

Our Warm Weather Shipping policy is in effect (May through Octoberish). Here’s why it’s required.

Extra Ordinary Delights must implement a warm weather shipping policy in order to guarantee that our Chocolates and other temperature-sensitive items arrive at your door in the best condition possible. Our products CANNOT be in transit over the weekend during warmer months, therefore, we will only ship orders Monday – Wednesday.

Any order placed Wednesday-Sunday will ship the following Monday.

Items will ship in Styrofoam coolers with Dry Ice. There will be two options, Next Day UPS or 2nd day UPS, and the delivery fee shown below includes a $6.00 service fee for a cooler, specialty packaging, and 5 pounds dry ice plus automatic 2-day shipping on all orders (if next day isn’t chosen).   Dry Ice will evaporate, but still keep the product cold enough and not be drenched in water.  Dry Ice dissipates/evaporates during transit up to 48 hours.

**Ultimate Caramel Apples must be shipped next day via UPS, as they can’t be packaged with dry ice, we use ice packs.**

All of our orders are shipped via UPS. At this time, UPS does NOT guarantee delivery time, therefore we cannot guarantee when your order will arrive at your doorstep.  E.O.D is not responsible for UPS’ actions.

***Please notify your recipients of a pending package arrival. Packages may be left at their door by UPS if no one is available to receive them, regardless of weather or heat. ***

Military and P.O. Box Addresses – We do not ship to APO’s or P.O. Boxes!  We do not ship to military or international addresses due to their perish-ability. 

To Avoid Weekend Transit Time…Orders may be delayed and shipped fresh on the following Monday, or can be shipped on a Thursday, via Next Day air only.
